Facebook Fundraisers



 

Facebook Fundraisers allow you to share your story and collect donations directly through Facebook. When you create a Facebook Fundraiser using the steps below, donations will show up in real-time and count towards your SunriseWALKS fundraising total.

There are two ways to set up your Facebook Fundraiser:
 

Option 1 – WALK2SOAR App
Step 1. Download the WALK2SOAR App through the App Store or Google Play.
Step 2. Enter the credentials you used to register for SunriseWALKS.
Step 3. Click the Connect Fundraiser to Facebook button.
Step 4. Enter your Facebook login credentials, wait for the page to re-load, then click Go To Fundraiser.


Now that you have successfully created your Facebook Fundraiser, you can customize the page, share it, and invite your Facebook friends to donate and share.

Option 2 – SunriseWALKS Dashboard
Step 1. Log in to your SunriseWALKS dashboard.
Step 2. Click the Go Social tab.
Step 3. Click Create a Facebook Fundraiser.
Step 4. Enter your Facebook login credentials, wait for the page to re-load, then click Go To Fundraiser.
 
Now that you have successfully created your Facebook Fundraiser, you can customize the page, share it, and invite your Facebook friends to donate and share.

Note: DO NOT go directly to Facebook to create a Facebook Fundraiser as your donations will NOT be linked to your SunriseWALKS page. You must use the WALK2SOAR App or Fundraiser Dashboard to create the Facebook Fundraiser.
