Claire and Chris in Support for Children with Cancer
I recently joined the Leadership Board of Aurora Day Camp. Georgia’s only full summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, ages 3 1⁄2 – 16 providing a magical camp and year-round in-hospital programs, all completely free of charge. My daughter Claire and I have formed our fundraising Team Claire and Chris in support for children with cancer for AuroraWALKS on Saturday, April 13th benefitting Aurora Day Camp.
Our family have been personally touched by childhood cancer, which may be the most overwhelming nightmare a family will ever face. I have seen the impact of the Aurora unique mission, there are no other programs like these in Atlanta and every dollar donated stays here in Georgia. Claire has joined me and will reach out to her network to help us reach our goals and help send more children to camp!

It costs $6,000 to send one child to camp for the entire summer. Your support and friendship will help us beat our $225,000 Walk Goal. Let’s give these little fighters a precious opportunity to be normal kids and have fun! 57% of the campers are under age 10, and 38% are younger than 7 years old. AuroraWALKS will take place on Saturday, April 13th at the Concourse Office Park. Check-In and free fun family activities, easy, free parking at 8:30 AM, Walk starts at 10:30 AM. I am inviting all my friends and family to join OUR FUN TEAM at the Walk!
