I recently joined the Leadership Board of Aurora Day Camp. Georgia’s only full summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, ages 3 1⁄2 – 16 providing a magical camp and year-round in-hospital programs, all completely free of charge. My daughter Claire and I have formed our fundraising Team Claire and Chris in support for children with cancer for AuroraWALKS on Saturday, April 13th benefitting Aurora Day Camp.
Our family have been personally touched by several cancers and childhood cancer, which may be the most overwhelming nightmare a family will ever face. We have seen the impact of the unique Aurora mission; there are no other programs like these in Atlanta and every dollar donated stays here in Georgia. Claire and I are very excited to reach our goals and we hope you will help us send more children to camp!

It costs $6,000 to send one child to camp for the entire summer. Your support and friendship will help us beat our $225,000 Walk Goal. AuroraWALKS will take place on Saturday, April 13th at the Concourse Office Park. Check-In and free fun family activities at 8:30 AM, Walk starts at 10:30 AM, free parking, easy access. I am inviting all my friends and family to join OUR FUN TEAM at the Walk!
