Please welcome The Linton Family -- Aurora Camper Ruby Linton, Aurora board member Ashley Linton, Evan and Rashan -- to the 2024 AuroraWALKS!
Ashley vowed to get involved with Aurora; she joined our board two years ago; Ruby attended our 2022 summer camp at only 3 ½ years old and Ruby will be back at camp again this summer. Ashley loves AuroraWALKS and formed Team Racing for Ruby which was our Top Team in 2022
and last year, Racing for Ruby was the 2nd highest fundraising team at $13,125 with Ashley as the top walker raising $12,875.
"Our family is extremely passionate about Aurora Day Camp. As parents of a child who bravely fought cancer, we are deeply connected to this cause. I joined the board because of the support we received through the Aurora on Wheels in-hospital programs.
Aurora's mission is unlike any other in Atlanta, and the impact it has is truly remarkable. What sets Aurora apart is its dedication to our community; every single dollar donated remains right here, supporting kids with cancer and their families," says Ashley Linton.
Ruby's Journey
In 2021, two-year-old Ruby was fighting for survival after a very challenging brain tumor diagnosis. For the many months they were in the hospital and Ruby and family loved the specially curated crafts and games provided by our in-hospital Aurora on Wheels program.

Walk Day at
Concourse Perimeter is a wonderful family celebration starting at 8:30AM, easy access with lots of free parking with a short one-mile walk starting at 10:30AM.
Our Aurora campers can see their camp friends and their favorite counselors and have endless fun with the many free crafts and games provided. Your team can share the excitement of the short Walk led by our fabulous drumline.
