Did you know many companies offer a matching gift program to encourage charitable giving among their employees? And that some companies will even match to spouses and retirees?
 
By taking advantage of your company's matching gift program, you can double, or even triple your donation to HorizonWALKS and help more children with cancer and their siblings experience the magic of Horizon.

Next steps to have your gift matched: 

  1. 1. Eligibility: Search Company Name above or check with your Human Resources department to find out if your company has a matching gift program. 

  1. 2. Apply for a match: If your gift is eligible to be matched, follow your employer’s matching gift application process. You must initiate the match by completing your employer’s online request form or submit a paper form for processing. If you make your donation online, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to apply. 

  1. 3. Let us know: Contact your local WALKS staff member, and let them know that you plan on getting your donation matched. 

  1. 4. Mail Matching Gift documentation to:

  1. 5. Match My Gift: Once confirmed, your employer will send the matching funds based on their disbursement schedule. 

  1. 6. Apply to my Fundraising: Once the matching gift is received and processed by HorizonWALKS, the donation will be credited to the individual or team specified on the form.
