Once again, we the Aurora Day Camp counselors have formed the AURORA SUPER STAFF TEAM for AuroraWALKS on Saturday, April 13th, benefitting Aurora Day Camp. Georgia’s only full-summer day camp for children that have battled cancer or are currently battling cancer and their siblings. Aurora provides a full summer day camp, year-round and in-hospital programs, free of charge to children with cancer and their siblings, aged 3 ½ to 16.

Aurora’s 7th full summer day camp opens June 10th and we can’t wait to meet over 220 excited campers and families, a record number, who are counting the days to come! Our camper parents share the children sing the Aurora camp songs all year long!

There are no other programs like these in Atlanta. Children fighting cancer and siblings all attend Aurora’s camp together, laughing every day, a priceless gift to any family. At Aurora, it’s not about cancer – it’s about endless fun. This is what Aurora does. 57% of our campers are under age 10, and 37% are younger than 7. Please help me give these little fighters a precious opportunity to be normal kids and have fun.

Our team goal is $12,000- please help us reach our BIG GOAL of personally sending two kids to camp this summer!
