Once again Audubon has formed TEAM AUDUBON for the 6th AuroraWALKS on Saturday, April 13th, benefitting Aurora Day Camp. We have been a sponsor of AuroraWALKS since the first event and our team of employees, and their families, have led the Walk!
Aurora is Georgia’s only full summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, ages 3 1⁄2 – 16 and provides year-round and in-hospital programs, all completely free of charge. A group of us visited the camp last summer and we have seen the impact of this unique mission, there are no other programs like these in Atlanta and every dollar donated stays here in Georgia.
Our team goal is $10,000 and once again we hope OUR fabulous team will step up for this powerful cause. Will you help give summer back to children with cancer and help Audubon reach our goal? While participation is not a requirement – we are asking each of you to either join our team as a walker OR make a donation to our team at the buttons above!

Children affected by cancer and their siblings all attend the camp together, laughing and smiling every day… a priceless gift to any family. At Aurora, it’s not about cancer – it’s about fun. This is what Aurora does. 57% of the campers are under age 10, and 37% are younger than 8 Help us give these little fighters a precious opportunity to be normal kids and have fun.
AuroraWALKS will take place on Saturday, April 13th, at the Concourse Office Park, easy access, free parking. Free Fun fun family activities start at 8:30 AM, a short ¾ mile Walk starts at 10:30 AM. Team Audubon will have our own team tent for all to meet, at the Walk Start area, filled with fun activities for all the family, music, drumline, clowns, games, crafts, free popcorn and more.
