I am proud to serve as a founding member of the Leadership Board of Aurora Day Camp. Aurora provides Georgia’s only full summer day camp AND year-round in-hospital programs, for children with cancer and their siblings, all completely free of charge. This summer, we will open our doors for our 7th camp for over 220 campers aged 3 ½ to 16, many of whom travel to camp in our free busses serving 22 Metro Atlanta counties. 57% of the campers are under age 10, and 38% are younger than 7.
Let’s give these little fighters a precious opportunity to be normal kids and have fun. This unique mission provides endless fun and laughter and every dollar donated stays right here in Georgia.
Once again, I have formed my JUST DO IT fundraising team for AuroraWALKS on Saturday, April 13th to help send more children to camp. Last year my friends helped me raise $8,100. I am so very grateful and this year my personal fundraising goal is $10,000 and I need your help to get there. You can donate to my page at the button above.
