I have formed Team Journee's Journey for the 6th AuroraWALKS on Saturday, April 13th benefitting Aurora Day Camp, Georgia’s only full summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, ages 3 1⁄2 – 16, all completely free of charge.
Journee was diagnosed with lymphoblastic lymphoma in May of 2022, just a few days before her 4th birthday. With a diagnosis of this caliber, she couldn't attend daycare. She didn't understand why or what was happening. During her 6 weeks in the hospital, and many clinical visits we learned about Aurora. Journee and her older sister Jayden aged 14, both absolutely loved Aurora and made many new friends. Journee so looks forward to being at Aurora again this summer. There is no other summer camp like Aurora for my girls and all families dealing with an overwhelming diagnosis.
Aurora also provides year-round in-hospital programs and fun days for camper patients and families, in addition to this magical camp. We enjoyed games from Aurora on Wheels while at CHOA. In the last year, Aurora has supported more than 2,000 children with cancer and their siblings through its summer, year-round and in-hospital programs. Every dollar donated stays here in Georgia.

Your support and friendship will help us reach the $225,000 AuroraWALKS goal which will help us serve more children this summer. 57% of our campers are under age 10, and 37% are younger than 8.
AuroraWALKS will take place on Saturday, April 13th at the Concourse Office Park. Check-In and fun family activities at 8:30 AM, Walk starts at 10:30 AM, free parking, easy access. I am inviting all my friends and family to join the Team Journee's Journey at the Walk!
