As a pediatric oncologist I have the great pleasure and privilege of taking care of children with cancer every day of my life. One of the many challenges our patients and their families face is missing out on normal childhood experiences. Horizon Day Camp is a magical place full of laughter and fun where children with cancer and their siblings have the freedom to just be kids all day every day all summer long. In addition to the FREE summer camp, they also provide both in-hospital and community events throughout the year.
