HorizonWALKS is an annual walkathon event that raises critical funds and awareness for Horizon Day Camp, Maryland’s first full-summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, offered completely free of charge. Horizon Day Camp, along with their Year-Round Programming and In-Hospital Recreational Activities, brings back the simple joys of childhood to local Maryland and Washington, D.C. area children impacted by pediatric cancer.
This year, HorizonWALKS is YOUR WAY! All participants are encouraged to use their creativity to fundraise, spread awareness and participate in HorizonWALKS 2021 in any way that is fun, meaningful and safe for them.
HorizonWALKS will be held on October 17, 2021 at our very own Power Plant Live! in Baltimore's Inner Harbor and will consist of an online Opening Ceremony, followed by a walk with family and friends in our community.
