THIS YEAR, SUNRISEWALKS CELEBRATES TOGETHER AGAIN!

We are thrilled to host our SunriseWALKS Staten Island event in-person this year on Sunday, June 26th at 10am at Staten Island University Hospital "Community Park," home of the Staten Island FerryHawks!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

REGISTER and create or join a team.
SHARE your participation with family and friends and ask them to join you.
FUNDRAISE AND SPREAD AWARENESS to support our Sunrise children.
WALK WITH US on June 26 to celebrate the success of SunriseWALKS and our Sunrise campers!

Parking instructions for the event:

Parking at the Wheel Lot: free to first 300 cars

Go to this website: https://parking.honkmobile.com/hourly/zones/3021

Search the list of events to find JCC Sunrise Walk.

Create an account with your payment method (you will not be charged) and your license plate of the vehicle you will be driving to the WALK.

Use the following code when they make the reservation to get the complimentary passes, JCCSW22

If the 300 passes have been used, you can prepay for $8 (will be $10 day of event)

Parkers should use the 155 Richmond Terrace entrance (right past Hamilton Avenue)

**There will be a shuttle from the Wheel parking to the stadium.The shuttle bus will run from 9-10:30am and begin the return trip to the Wheel Lot at approx. 1:45PM

Parking is also available at the Outlets for $10. Limited parking is available on the street near the stadium.

Who We Are

Sunrise Day Camp–Staten Island is the world's first full-summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, offered completely free of charge. Sunrise Day Camp-Staten Island is a proud member of the Sunrise Association, whose mission is to bring back the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings world-wide through the creation of Day Camps, Year-Round Programs and In-Hospital Recreational Activities, all offered free of charge.

What we are all experiencing today – the fear of germs, social distancing, constant hand-washing – is what the Sunrise families live with from the moment their child is diagnosed. We are now seeing a window into their world.
