Hi friends,

A friend of mine asked if anyone would like to join him in a walk to raise money for the Sunrise Day Camp in Staten Island on June 2nd this year. I had to volunteer because Andrew never asks anyone for anything and I know this cause is important to him.

Together we play a key role in sending more children to Sunrise Day Camp where they can enjoy an environment filled with excitement, friendship, and adventure – where the focus changes from hospital beds I’m and needles to swimming pools and paint brushes. The mission of Sunrise Day Camp - Staten Island is to bring back the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings through our Day Camp, Year-Round, and In-Hospital Programs, all offered free of charge.
