SAMPLE LANGUAGE FOR SOCIAL MEDIA POST
I am participating in the SunriseWALKS Event this year to help raise critical funds and awareness for @SunriseDayCamp-PearlRiver, a program created to give children with cancer and their siblings a safe environment to experience the joys of childhood filled with smiles, laughter, and friendship. All Sunrise programs are offered free of charge.
What we are feeling as a nation today – the isolation, the uncertainty, the fear of contagion – is reminiscent of what so many of the Sunrise families experience every day. The current pandemic has caused Sunrise to pivot many of their programs so that they can continue to provide their services to all of their campers. Included in their new programs is their first ever virtual camp!
No matter the obstacles, Sunrise will continue bring the smiles, support, and love to all families.
But they can't do it without our support!
