HorizonWALKS is an annual walkathon event that raises critical funds and awareness for Horizon Day Camp β Metro DC, the worldβs first full-summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, offered completely free of charge . Horizon Day Camp, along with their Year-Round Programming and In-Hospital Recreational Activities, brings back the simple joys of childhood to hundreds of children impacted by pediatric cancer.
The second annual Metro DC HorizonWALKS will be held the morning of Sunday, May 21, 2023 and will consist of an Opening Ceremony, followed by a walk with family and friends, plus free fun activities at the National Harbor.
