Sunrise was a dream I had more than a dozen years ago. Today, that dream has blossomed into something that far exceeds anything I ever imagined this organization would become. With 8 summer day camps and 41 weekly in-hospital programs, Sunrise today cares for more than 5000 children a year - children with cancer as well as their brothers and sisters. It's a place filled with excitement, friendship, and adventure – where the focus changes from hospital beds and needles to swimming pools and paint brushes. And it's a place where everything we do . . . everything . . . is offered free of charge. This cause is very dear to me, and l appreciate all the support I can get.
