Dear Friends and Family.

When I began Sunrise 13 years ago, I just wanted to start a small, free day camp for children with cancer . . . simply because there weren’t any. From 96 children in year one, today Sunrise oversees 8 summer camps worldwide and 28 hospital programs in cities around the world. Last year, nearly 5000 children attended a Sunrise program, and not a single family had to pay even one dollar for any Sunrise service.

SunriseWALKS is a critical part of our ability to continue to expand into new communities while making sure that no family that needs us ever gets turned away. Please consider supporting me at next Sunday’s Long Island Walk, or better yet, sign up to walk with me - either in person or virtually.
